Privacy Policy
LittleDay collects nothing. There is no server to collect it with.
The short version
- LittleDay has no accounts and no sign-in. It never asks for your name, email address or phone number.
- LittleDay has no backend. There is no LittleDay server, anywhere, that your device can send data to.
- Everything you enter — your children, your preferences, your history — is stored only on your iPhone.
- There is no advertising, no tracking, no analytics and no third-party SDKs of any kind in the app.
- The developer of LittleDay cannot see any of your data, and has no way to request it.
What is stored, and where
The following are saved in a private database inside the app's own storage area on your iPhone, protected by iOS. They are not uploaded anywhere.
- The children you add: first name (or whatever you choose to type), date of birth, and interests
- Your preferences: mess tolerance, which household items you have, notification settings
- Activity history: which activities you started, and the one-tap feedback you gave
- Favourites, saved activities and generated day plans
- What LittleDay has inferred from that history about what works for your child
You are not required to enter a real name or a precise date of birth. LittleDay uses the date of birth only to work out an age range for filtering activities.
If the app is deleted
Deleting LittleDay removes this database along with it. Nothing survives elsewhere, because nothing was ever sent elsewhere. Inside the app, Child → Privacy also offers "Forget what LittleDay has learned" and "Delete everything".
Backups
If you have iCloud Backup or encrypted local backups switched on, your device backup may include LittleDay's data, in the same way it includes other apps' data. That is Apple's backup of your device, handled under Apple's privacy policy, not a transfer to the developer of LittleDay.
What leaves the device, and only if you ask
LittleDay makes no network requests of its own. Four Apple features can be used, each one optional, each one triggered by something you tap.

If any of these are unavailable — no signal, permission declined, unsupported device — the rest of LittleDay carries on working exactly as before. The complete activity catalogue is included in the app itself, so LittleDay works fully offline.
Children's privacy
LittleDay is designed for a parent or carer to use. It is not a game or a screen experience for a child, and it contains no advertising, no in-app purchases, no external links for a child to follow, and no social or messaging features.
Information about a child that a parent chooses to enter (a name and a date of birth) never leaves the parent's device, and is never accessible to the developer or to any third party. Because no personal data is collected or transmitted, LittleDay does not create the data-collection obligations that COPPA, the UK GDPR or the Age Appropriate Design Code place on services that gather information about children.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you have rights of access, correction, erasure and portability over personal data held about you by a service. LittleDay holds no personal data about you: there is nothing to disclose in response to an access request, because nothing was ever collected. Your right to erasure is satisfied directly and immediately by the controls inside the app, or by deleting the app.
LittleDay does not sell personal information, does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and does not profile you across any other service.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of LittleDay ever changes what it does with data, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the change will be described in the app's release notes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
